Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elias Eberhard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes into the arena with UFC: Closer to the Edge (Jared Leto) blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams leaves Eberhard with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Williams fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Eberhard looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Williams pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Eberhard tries to counter by closing the distance.
Williams lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Eberhard circles away quickly and effectively.
Eberhard takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Simon Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eberhard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Williams is fending him off so far but Eberhard persists. Nope, Williams circles away and we're back to standing.
Williams throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Williams pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Williams fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Eberhard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Eberhard tries to move into range but Williams moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Williams motions for Eberhard to come forward. Williams throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Eberhard throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Williams sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Williams cracks Eberhard with a good jab.
Eberhard tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Williams is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Eberhard gets tackled into the cage by Williams. Williams maintains the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eberhard shoots in and drives through. Williams sprawls well.
Eberhard doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Williams is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Eberhard has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Williams.
Williams connects with an inside leg kick.
Williams lands a jab to the nose.
Williams lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Eberhard goes down and covers up as Williams starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
