Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Llorente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samir Oliva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hugo Llorente!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Samir Oliva!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliva looks for the body kick but Llorente saw that one coming.
Llorente misses with a takedown
and Oliva counters with a good low kick that Llorente was not able to check.

Llorente feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Llorente drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Oliva dives on top into guard.

Oliva stands and steps away. Llorente gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Llorente is trying hard to land a takedown here. Oliva sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Llorente shoots for a double leg takedown but Oliva sprawls well. He's pushed Llorente's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugo Llorente. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Oliva slaps away a takedown attempt from Llorente, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Llorente shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oliva pinned against the cage. Oliva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Llorente is breathing heavily.
Llorente on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Oliva throws a nice outside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Oliva thuds his shin into the meat of Llorente's side.
Oliva defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Llorente.
Oliva lands a head kick!

Llorente takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Oliva thumps Llorente with a low kick.
Hugo Llorente seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Oliva as Llorente shoots in.
Oliva lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Oliva throws a nice outside leg kick.
Oliva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Llorente. That did some damage!
Samir Oliva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Oliva throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Llorente.
A head kick from Oliva lands but Llorente takes it in his stride.

and Oliva makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Llorente takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Llorente tries for a takedown but Oliva sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Oliva circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Llorente drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Oliva follows Llorente to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
