Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stallone on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Contador. Contador obviously looking to wear him down.
A shot to the liver by Stallone. Beautiful body shot.
Stallone definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Contador lands a jab to the nose.
Stallone jabs Contador to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Stallone misses with a wild combination.
Stallone throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Contador counters with a leg kick.

Contador throws a head kick that Stallone semi-blocks.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Stallone looks to land a combination but Contador avoids it well.

and Contador counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Contador throws a leg kick which misses Stallone's front leg but catches the back leg as Stallone tries to avoid it.
Contador lands with a nice body punch.

and Contador counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stallone's knee momentarily.

Stallone throws a body punch but Contador moves out of range.
Despite the aggression on Contador's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Contador tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Contador tries to work over Stallone's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Stallone jumps guard but Contador stands there with Stallone around his waist. Stallone gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Contador throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Stallone manages to pull guard.
Contador looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Contador stays in close to Stallone's body and controls the position.
Stallone on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stallone tries to get out of the position.
Contador's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Contador tries to free his leg and advance position but Stallone is retaining full guard.

Stallone is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Contador is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Stallone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Contador stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stallone swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Contador scoring well with a low kick there.
Stallone misses with a few strikes there.
Contador lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Contador fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Stallone has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Sly Stallone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Contador slips a jab from Stallone.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Stallone misses with some punches.
A short right from Stallone on the inside.
Contador misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Stallone is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Contador misses with a punch to the body.
Contador makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alberto Contador dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Stallone throws a lazy right hand but Contador sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Contador, right into the meat.
Stallone throws a series of punches but Contador avoids them all with ease.
Sly Stallone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Stallone throws a right and a left that Contador avoids nicely.
Contador scores with a push kick.
Contador fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stallone.
Contador has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Stallone throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Contador is looking for the big counter here.
Contador throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Stallone takes a kick to the side of the head.

Stallone drops Contador with a beautiful combination! Contador stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Stallone is looking for the KO!

Contador is rocked!

It looks like Alberto Contador has been cut.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Contador in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Stallone drops Contador with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Contador looks back up at him and smiles so Stallone waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Contador is still on wobbly legs! Can Stallone finish him?
Stallone throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stallone connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Contador covering up! Stallone comes in with a big uppercut and Contador goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
