Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daren Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan ElTerrible (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivan ElTerrible told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woods throws a sloppy head kick

and ElTerrible counters by clinching up.
ElTerrible tries to land a knee to the head but Woods blocks with his arms.
ElTerrible working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

It looks like Daren Woods has been cut.
Woods misses with a shot to the kidneys.

ElTerrible pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Woods shoots for a takedown but ElTerrible saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Woods keeps the fight on the outside.

ElTerrible rushes Woods and presses him up against the cage.
Woods misses with a shot to the kidneys.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Woods has ElTerrible pressed against the cage, preventing ElTerrible from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Woods missing with knees to the body.
ElTerrible connects with a knee to the head.
Woods misses with a punch to the body.
ElTerrible landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Woods drops down looking for an ankle pick but ElTerrible pulls his leg out and moves away.

ElTerrible is looking to clinch but Woods is avoiding it.
ElTerrible fails with an attempt to clinch.
Woods takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Woods shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
ElTerrible tries to kick Woods off in order to stand up. Woods Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
ElTerrible looks to move to half guard but instead Woods has passed into mount! Damn!
ElTerrible is wriggling around trying to escape.
Woods manages to capitalize on a mistake by ElTerrible to take his back!
ElTerrible is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

ElTerrible is trying to get to his feet but he's left his neck exposed and Woods manages to sink in a rear naked choke! Great counter grappling by Woods!
