Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Jackhandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvin Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks has chosen Never Scared - Bonecrusher as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks looks to land a left hand but Jackhandler moved out of range nicely.
Jackhandler definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Brooks throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Brooks misses with a body shot
and Jackhandler counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Brooks tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackhandler was well out of range. Poor timing from Brooks.
Brooks misses with a left hand
and Brooks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jackhandler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brooks.
Brooks misses with a looping left.

Brooks closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jackhandler did well to prevent Brooks getting side control.
Brooks thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Jackhandler wants to get back to full guard.

Brooks has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jackhandler defend it? Brooks steps over the head and cranks it - Jackhandler is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Brooks!
