Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emmitt Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pascal Tr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Emmitt Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pascal Tr!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tr is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dixon's half guard.
Tr is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Tr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dixon keeps working.
Dixon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tr blocks the strikes from Dixon.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dixon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tr pulls his head out easily.
Tr blocks the strikes from Dixon.

Tr is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Tr uses his free foot to push down on Dixon's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dixon.
Dixon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Dixon is looking to improve his position but Tr isn't that keen on the idea.
Tr misses with a head shot.
Dixon's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Dixon is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dixon is working hard here to advance position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Tr jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dixon manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Tr has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dixon enables Tr to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dixon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Tr wants to control from the top but Dixon keeps moving.

Dixon working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Tr has passed into half guard!
Dixon is refusing to be controlled, as Tr sits in half guard.

Dixon gets full guard.
Dixon wants to sweep here but Tr controlling him for the moment.

Dixon is working an open guard so Tr takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Pascal Tr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tr fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dixon, pushing him back against the cage.

Tr has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Dixon is trying to keep an underhook but Tr manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Dixon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dixon gets back to full guard.
Dixon throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Dixon is looking to sweep but instead, Tr has passed into half guard.
Dixon wants to get back to his feet.
Dixon moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Dixon throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Dixon keeping moving, preventing Tr from controlling successfully.
Tr looking to sit in guard and control but Dixon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Tr looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dixon engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Dixon has gone for a leg lock! Tr slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dixon's guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Tr slaps away a takedown attempt from Dixon, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Tr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dixon seems a little lost for a moment, as Tr dominates the positioning.

Tr is trying to get an arm triangle but Dixon is defending well.
Tr has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Tr is trying to ground and pound but Dixon uses the momentary lack of control by Tr to regain half guard.

Dixon tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Tr has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Dixon is squirming around, avoiding Tr's attempts to control the action.
Dixon blocking the ground and pound.
Tr trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Tr looking to ground and pound but Dixon is blocking nicely.
Dixon keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dixon slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Tr passes to side control.
Dixon tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tr wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Dixon is not content to let Tr control the position.
Dixon is looking for a sweep.
Pascal Tr has got the better of the ground game so far.

Tr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dixon keeps working.

Tr decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Tr closes the distance and clinches.
Dixon tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dixon is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Tr scores with a hook to the body.

Tr has picked Dixon up - he's going for a ride! Tr dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Tr trying to mount his opponent but Dixon defends it.
Dixon is trying to stand.

Tr stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tr has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dixon is bucking up trying to escape but Tr cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pascal Tr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Dixon shoots in for a takedown but Tr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tr advances nicely into full mount.
Dixon is wriggling around trying to escape.
Tr punishing his opponent with strikes.

Tr looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Dixon sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Dixon is not content to let Tr control the position.

Dixon looking for submissions off his back.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dixon avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tr.
Tr wants to stand up but Dixon is controlling the position.

Tr is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Tr seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dixon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Dixon kicks Tr off and gets back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Tr closes the distance and clinches.
Dixon blocks a body shot from Tr.
Dixon just leaning against Tr, taking a breather.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Tr.
Tr wants to get back to striking at distance but Dixon won't allow it.

Tr gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Dixon regains guard.

Tr stands up from Dixon's guard - Tr perhaps looking for a knockout.

Tr forces Dixon back against the cage and clinches.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Tr manages to pull guard.
Dixon won't allow Tr to sweep him here.
Tr seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Dixon is looking to work some ground and pound but Tr has wrist control.
Dixon sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Dixon wants to control from the top but Tr keeps moving.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dixon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Dixon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Dixon throwing strikes from guard but Tr blocks nicely.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Dixon looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Tr has managed to clinch.

And that's the end of the fight!
Pascal Tr comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
