The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strong shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vadasz as he jumps to the side.
Strong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vadasz tries a head kick but it misses.
Strong blocks a head kick by Vadasz.

Strong closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Strong lands with a punch from half guard.
Vadasz won't allow Strong to pass to mount.
Vadasz pushes Strong off looking to stand but Strong dives back in and keeps control.
Strong slows the pace down in half guard.
Vadasz looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Strong lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Strong landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Strong moves nicely into side control.
Strong in side control lands a decent elbow.
Vadasz is pushing Strong's head away, looking to escape. Strong manages to hold on to the position though.
Vadasz takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Vadasz takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Strong landing a few strikes.
Vadasz is trying to buck Strong off.
Strong lands a decent elbow from side control.

Vadasz is rocked!
Vadasz is looking to get back to his feet here but Strong is keeping cool and he's managed to take Vadasz's back.
Strong punishes Vadasz with strikes from the back mount.
Oh Vadasz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Strong is scoring with a succession of shots from the back. Vadasz is covering up - he's had enough and the ref steps in to end the fight!
