Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Sponz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jussi Hellstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jussi Hellstrom!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sponz stuffs the takedown.
Hellstrom fails with the takedown.
Hellstrom wants to clinch.
Hellstrom keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Sponz forces Hellstrom back against the cage and clinches.
Sponz has had enough of the clinch but Hellstrom keeps him there for the moment.
Hellstrom changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sponz fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Matt Sponz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jussi Hellstrom.

Sponz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Sponz looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Hellstrom tries to roll over but Sponz keeps him under control.

Hellstrom is looking for a triangle here but Sponz uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Hellstrom manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Hellstrom wants to control but Sponz passes into side.

Hellstrom manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sponz's best efforts.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hellstrom is looking to improve his position.

Sponz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hellstrom can't escape the position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
