Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Furious George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Volk Kruth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lamb of God - Descending. Volk Kruth acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Volk Kruth!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruth throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
George tries to counter with a takedown but Kruth is quick to defend against it.
George uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kruth.
George attempts a counter takedown but Kruth avoids it well and moves away.
Kruth on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kruth throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck George on the side of the head.
Kruth throws a right and a left that George avoids nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kruth buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
George cracks Kruth with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kruth tries to sprawl but George drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kruth makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kruth.
George throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kruth works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
George has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kruth looking to hit a scissor sweep but George is one step ahead there.
Kruth keeps trying to improve his position.
George trying to control but Kruth is working from the bottom.
George is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kruth is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
George looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kruth!
Kruth is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
We've been hearing good reports from George's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Kruth is not content to let George control the position.
George is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kruth defends it well.
George seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Kruth has recovered full guard.

Kruth bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in George's guard.
George controls Kruth momentarily but Kruth frees himself.
Kruth decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on George, up you get!
Kruth throws a shot from downtown. George moves away and avoids it.
Kruth wants to land a leg kick but George is out of range.
Volk Kruth is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kruth connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed George momentarily.
George gets cracked there but stands up to it.
George misses with a double jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That was a close round but I would say that Furious George will probably get the nod.

George dives in and grabs Kruth's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kruth pushes down on George's head and hops out.

Kruth throws a leg kick but George checks it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kruth lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and George has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from George and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

George lands with a nice body punch.
Furious George is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kruth throws an overhand right that lands on George's shoulder, as George tries to avoid the shot.
Kruth tries to work over George's front leg with a kick but George checks it.
George scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Nice straight punches there by George. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of George.

George tries to bum rush Kruth with a series of wild strikes but Kruth uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kruth has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from George finds it's way round the side to connect with Kruth's head.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Furious George will probably get the nod.

George is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Kruth bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! George comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Kruth falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Kruth was out before he hit the floor!
