Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Del Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamamu Nabo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nabo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cão de Morte. Mamamu Nabo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nabo shoots in and bounces Rose off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Nabo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rose is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Rose misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Nabo.

Rose escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rose could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Nabo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rose is trying to defend but Nabo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
