Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Milpid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gale Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Milpid comes to the cage accompanied by Stupify. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Gale Gold enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gold misses with a body kick.
Gold cracks Milpid with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Milpid looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Milpid wants to work for an arm triangle but Gold is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Gold counters with a good low kick that Milpid was not able to check.

Milpid dives in for a single leg takedown but Gold sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

I was talking to Milpid's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Gold throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Milpids head.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Gold lands a right hand that snaps the head of Milpid backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gale Gold dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jack Milpid's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Gold lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Gold dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Milpid. That did some damage!
Milpid tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Milpid shoots in for a double leg but Gold sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gold looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Milpid takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Gold lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Gale Gold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice inside leg kick there by Gold. That's going to slow Milpid down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gold feints and then cracks Milpid's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Milpid down.
Good leg kick by Gold there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Milpid closes the distance and clinches up with Gold, looking for a takedown. Milpid pushes Gold against the cage but Gold circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Milpid takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jack Milpid is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Gold rushes Milpid and presses him up against the cage.
Milpid goes for a takedown attempt but Gold pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Gold. Milpid shrugs it off though.
Gold fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Gale Gold is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gold scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Gold cracks Milpid with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Milpid looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gold finish him?
Milpid is rocked!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gold drives through and clinches with Milpid against the cage.
Oh Milpid is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gold fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Gold lands a right hand.
Gold lands a nice uppercut.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Gold.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Milpid seems to have got his legs back now.
Gold lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Milpid is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Gold goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Gold misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Gold. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Milpid looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gold is fending him off so far but Milpid persists. Nope, Gold circles away and we're back to standing.
Milpid chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gold can pounce on him.
Gold has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Milpid sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Milpid shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gold as he avoids it easily.
Gold lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Gold lands a jab to the head.
Gold drops Milpid with a naaaaasty hook - Milpid is in real trouble here! Gold dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

A very excited looking Gale Gold made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
