Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gordon brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cosme Capetto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gordon brown could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Cosme Capetto's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Capetto gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
brown connects with a couple of short punches.

brown stands up and waves to Capetto to follow him.
brown shoots in looking for a takedown. Capetto tries to sprawl out of it but brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Capetto manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Capetto looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
brown fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

brown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Capetto takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

and Capetto counters with a nice body kick.
brown is breathing heavily.
Capetto looks for a takedown but brown sprawls well.
Capetto ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Capetto, right into the meat.
Capetto tries to clinch up but brown circles away and keeps his distance.
Capetto throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Capetto throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Capetto pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Capetto lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Capetto tries to clinch up but brown circles away and keeps his distance.

Capetto closes the distance and clinches.
brown lands a knee to the body.

Capetto breaks the clinch.
brown is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Capetto.
Capetto will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

brown is looking to work some ground and pound but Capetto has wrist control.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

brown is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Capetto's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Capetto's back!
Capetto is trying to get back to his feet but brown has full control of the position and if anything, Capetto has just worked his way into a worse spot.
brown is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Capetto. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

brown is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Capetto knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Capetto for a finish.

brown slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Capetto is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

brown tightens his grip and picks Capetto up, before dumping him to the ground. Capetto manages to land in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gordon brown will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

brown is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Capetto is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Capetto has escaped and now he's on top!

Capetto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. brown swivels though and keeps the full guard.

brown uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Capetto tries to bum rush brown with a series of wild strikes but brown uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
brown shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Capetto pinned against the cage. Capetto gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gordon brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
brown shoots for a double leg takedown but Capetto sprawls well. He's pushed brown's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Capetto lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Capetto swings for the body but brown moves out of range.

Cosme Capetto comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
