Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ellis Mccullough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz misses with a wild combination.
Ortiz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Ortiz throws a one two combo.
Ortiz misses with a few strikes there.
Ortiz stuffs the takedown.
Ortiz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Mccullough shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ortiz but Ortiz pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ortiz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mccullough, pushing him back against the cage.
Ortiz with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Mccullough is trying to push Ortiz away but Ortiz has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Ortiz wants to stall.
Mccullough really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Ortiz keeps control of Mccullough as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Mccullough wants to take the fight to the mat but Ortiz manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ellis Mccullough. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ortiz thows an elbow strike that misses. Mccullough gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Ortiz doesn't seem too bothered but Mccullough quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Ortiz is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Ortiz really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
