Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Horace Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cash McDermont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cash McDermont will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Sosa moves into the clinch.
Sosa keeps control of McDermont as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sosa could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sosa wants to hit a switch here but McDermont passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Sosa there!
Sosa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

It looks like Horace Sosa has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McDermont is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sosa has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sosa!

McDermont throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sosa works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
McDermont lands a couple of digs.
McDermont loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
McDermont wants to control from the top but Sosa keeps moving.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

McDermont is trying to push Sosa away but Sosa has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

McDermont has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sosa clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
You can see the frustration on Sosa's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Horace Sosa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
McDermont is looking to control Sosa but Sosa is wriggling around and keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McDermont is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
McDermont is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Sosa up.

Sosa is in a bad position with McDermont working for a choke. Sosa manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Sosa closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. McDermont did well to prevent Sosa getting side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sosa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McDermont but McDermont pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Sosa manages to get to full guard.
Sosa doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
McDermont stays in close to Sosa's body and controls the position.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
McDermont stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sosa swivels though and keeps the full guard.
