Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bunaidi Pakpahan!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pakpahan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from McQueen.
Pakpahan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pakpahan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pakpahan throws a jab but it's blocked by McQueen.

Pakpahan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McQueen, pushing him back against the cage.

McQueen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pakpahan pulls him back up using the underhooks.

McQueen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pakpahan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The referee is keeping an eye on Pakpahan - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

That's time! McQueen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


McQueen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McQueen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pakpahan at a distance.
Pakpahan moves away from the strike by McQueen.

Pakpahan feints and as McQueen raises his hands in defense, Pakpahan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

McQueen controls Pakpahan momentarily but Pakpahan frees himself.

McQueen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pakpahan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

McQueen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pakpahan is working away from the top position though.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

McQueen has had enough of the clinch but Pakpahan keeps him there for the moment.

McQueen is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Pakpahan's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

McQueen looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Bunaidi Pakpahan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Bunaidi Pakpahan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Pakpahan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
