Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salata throws a leg kick but Mcknight sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Mcknight shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Salata's guard.

Salata had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mcknight defends it easily.

Salata throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mcknight escapes and throws Salata's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Mcknight looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Salata with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mcknight connects with a nice short shot to Salata's temple.

Mcknight changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Salata looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
You can see the frustration on Salata's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
