The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stryfe has a takedown stuffed.
Stryfe feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Esca sprawling to the canvas! Esca rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Stryfe finish him?!

Esca is rocked!

It looks like Pavlo Esca has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Esca has a takedown stuffed.
Esca displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Stryfe throws out the jab.
Stryfe wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Stryfe misses with a head kick.
Stryfe comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stryfe tries to land a leg kick but Esca saw it coming and moves away.

Stryfe tries a head kick but it misses.
Stryfe swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Esca.
Esca tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stryfe swivels and escapes.
Cronus Stryfe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pavlo Esca.
Stryfe fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Esca out cold! Brutal finish!
