Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paddy McCracken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Ulrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCracken comes to the cage accompanied by You Can't Bring Me Down. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paddy McCracken!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Ulrich!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCracken gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ulrich counters with a nice uppercut.
Horrible takedown attempt by Ulrich or perhaps it was just good defense by McCracken, which made it look bad.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ulrich has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Ulrich leaves McCracken with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McCracken looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ulrich is fending him off so far but McCracken persists. Nope, Ulrich circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paddy McCracken. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McCracken stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McCracken wants it to stay on the feet.
McCracken will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ulrich shoots in but McCracken avoids the takedown attempt easily.
McCracken shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ulrich as he jumps to the side.
Ulrich tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McCracken swivels and escapes.
Ulrich displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McCracken.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ulrich shoots in but no luck this time.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Ulrich drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McCracken manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ulrich's best efforts.

McCracken is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Ulrich is tapping! Great win for McCracken!

A relieved looking Paddy McCracken thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
