The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maenpaa's coach down at Combat Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Maenpaa's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Brigante creates a bit of space and cracks Maenpaa with an uppercut that drops him to the canvas! Maenpaa is wobbled and seems to be struggling to get back to his feet. 3,4,5. He's up! Phew, his manager will be relieved but they're no doubt wondering whether he'll be able to recover properly and get back in the fight!
Brigante tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Maenpaa was well out of range. Poor timing from Brigante.

Maenpaa wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Brigante has him pressed against the cage.

Brigante creates a bit of distance for himself, with Maenpaa pressed up against the cage and cracks Maenpaa with a massive uppercut! Maenpaa goes down! He's out cold! Wow, that was some serious power there by Brigante!
