Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lik Alotadik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Zol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alotadik's entrance music is When Death comes Knocking - Primal Fear. A fine choice. Lik Alotadik could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jay Zol's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lik Alotadik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 14 - 1, fighting out of London, Jay Zol!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zol tries to score a power double leg takedown but Alotadik sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zol somewhat.

Zol feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Zol postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Zol in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Zol cracks Alotadik with a solid left hand.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zol accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zol trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Alotadik bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Zol's guard.

Alotadik won't allow Zol to get back to his feet.

Alotadik decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Zol, up you get!
Zol has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Alotadik is landing a low percentage of strikes.

It looks like Jay Zol has been cut.
Alotadik jabs at Zol's body.
Alotadik catches Zol with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Alotadik throws a head kick but Zol moves out of range.
Zol thows a left - swing and a miss!
Alotadik throws a body shot but no joy.
Zol throws a counter combo.
Alotadik tries to land a leg kick but Zol saw it coming and moves away.
Zol misses with a looping left.
Alotadik cracks Zol with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Alotadik has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Zol moves out of range as Alotadik strikes.
Lik Alotadik is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zol will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Zol shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Zol throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Zol working over Alotadik with some ground and pound. Alotadik looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Alotadik misses with a hook.

Alotadik throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zol sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Alotadik connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Zol connects with a body shot.
Zol shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Alotadik defends it nicely.
Alotadik tried to counter with a leg kick but Zol avoided it.
Lik Alotadik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Zol.
Zol avoids the body shot from Alotadik.
Alotadik lands a leg kick that knocks Zol off balance momentarily.
Zol tries for a takedown but Alotadik sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Alotadik lands a glancing blow to the side of Zol's head.

Zol is rocked!

Alotadik was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Zol is still on wobbly legs! Can Alotadik finish him?

Zol seems to have recovered his senses.
No luck for Zol with that takedown attempt.
Zol goes for a double leg but Alotadik avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Alotadik continues to drive forward.
Alotadik will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zol shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Alotadik misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zol.
Alotadik misses with a looping left.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zol connects with a nice looking jab.
Alotadik throws out a loose jab but Zol uses good head movement to avoid it.
Alotadik lands a slapping body shot.
Alotadik turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Alotadik lands a left and a right that send Zol crashing to the mat, dazed. Alotadik thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Alotadik thuds a left hand into Zol's body.
Alotadik drops Zol with a huge uppercut! Zol drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Alotadik is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lik Alotadik!
Lik Alotadik gave a mention to GREEN!160 in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
