Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marin Pivchy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karlos Kondiitti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pivchy comes to the cage accompanied by Cowboys from hell. Kondiitti has chosen Kuningas Pähkinä & Setä Tamu - Hei Scully as his entrance music. Marin Pivchy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Karlos Kondiitti!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kondiitti moves into the clinch.

Pivchy has Kondiitti pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kondiitti manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Kondiitti tries a knee to the head but Pivchy blocks it.

Kondiitti connects with a nasty looking knee right to Pivchy's face.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pivchy in particular looking to stall.

Pivchy is pressed up against the cage. Kondiitti has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pivchy down to the mat. Pivchy avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Horrible takedown attempt by Kondiitti or perhaps it was just good defense by Pivchy, which made it look bad.

Kondiitti is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Pivchy jumps into side control!

Pivchy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kondiitti is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kondiitti is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Pivchy asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
You can see the frustration on Kondiitti's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kondiitti is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Pivchy asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Kondiitti wants to slow Pivchy down by chopping away at his legs.
