Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ian Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Victorious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes into the arena with Let There Be Rock by AC/DC blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses with a leg kick.
Victorious moves in looking to clinch but Smith pushes him off.

Ian Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Victorious slips a straight right by Smith.
Smith does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Victorious misses with a few strikes there.
Victorious throws a jab but it's blocked by Smith.
Victorious takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Victorious fails with an attempt to clinch.
Victorious tries to clinch but Smith moves out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Victorious .
Smith connects with an inside leg kick.

Smith clinches up against the cage.

Victorious pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Smith misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Some bone on bone action there as Smith checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Victorious looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Smith takes a kick to the side of the head.

Smith throws a right hand that Victorious ducks under and follows up with a left that Victorious also avoids with ease.

Smith looks to land a right hand but Victorious moved out of range.
Smith throws a low kick but Victorious avoids it.
Smith just misses with a punch to the body.
Left hook, right uppercut from Smith.
Victorious looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Victorious pushes Smith up against the cage in a clinch.
Victorious lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Victorious had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Smith defends it easily.
Smith with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Smith stops Victorious from standing up.
Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Victorious swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith passes Victorious 's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Smith working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are battling for position here. Victorious manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Victorious swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Smith connects with a leg kick. Victorious looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Victorious shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Smith sprawls well. Smith wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Victorious gets slowly back to his feet.

Smith closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Victorious 's guard.

Victorious has his feet on Smith's thighs here. He's pushed Smith off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Smith screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
