The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strapp scores with a nice head shot.
Zalama stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Strapp.
Zalama doesn't manage to clinch there - Strapp circles away.
Zalama takes a swing at Strapp's ribcage but misses.
Decent striking displayed by Strapp there.
Strapp looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Strapp cracks Zalama with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Zalama is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Zalama shoots in for a double leg but Strapp sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Zalama doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Strapp counters with an outside leg kick.

The fighters circling - Zalama throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Strapp bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Zalama's head backwards.
Strapp lands a head shot.
It looks like Strapp has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

A solid leg kick lands there for Strapp.
Zalama misses with a wild body shot.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Strapp checks a leg kick.

Zalama throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Strapp counters with a nice low kick that buckles Zalama's knee momentarily.
Zalama throws a body punch but Strapp moves out of range.
Zalama lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Strapp circles away quickly and effectively.
Strapp tests Zalama's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Zalama tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Strapp counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Zalama thinking.
Zalama looks winded!
Strapp connects with a looping right hand.
Strapp fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Zalama fails with the takedown
and Strapp counters with a nice body shot.
Darwin Strapp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ceppo Zalama.
Zalama stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Strapp.
Strapp throws a nice outside leg kick.
Strapp lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Strapp uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zalama.
Strapp's corner calls for a 1-2. Strapp obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Strapp scores with a kick to the body.

Zalama looks up at the clock. Bad move! Strapp lands a right hand from hell, dropping Zalama. Strapp pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
