Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Junior Jawo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruslan Prudnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruslan Prudnikov has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Junior Jawo's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jawo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jawo has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Jawo is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Prudnikov to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Prudnikov shrugs it off.
Prudnikov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jawo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Prudnikov tries to hold on but Jawo postures up.

Jawo has control of Prudnikov's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Prudnikov regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jawo fails to move to back control.

Prudnikov is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Jawo locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Prudnikov is forced to tap!

An out of breath Junior Jawo thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
