Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mohammed Jihad!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamada ducks under a wild hook from Jihad.
Yamada closes the distance and clinches.
Yamada wants to take the fight to the mat but Jihad manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Yamada is pushing Jihad up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Jihad misses with the head strike.
Jihad looking to slow down the pace here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yamada has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jihad regains guard immediately.
Yamada postures up.
Yamada might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Yamada trying to control the position from guard on top but Jihad is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Jihad looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Jihad trying to keep a closed guard but Yamada is proving a slippery customer.
Jihad has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Yamada postures up.
Yamada passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Jihad tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Yamada wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Yamada tries for a kimura but Jihad is defending well.
Yamada goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jihad rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Yamada's guard! Nice work there by Jihad!
Yamada looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jihad is one step ahead there.
Jihad trying to control the position from guard on top but Yamada is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jihad pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Yamada is keeping the position for now.
Jihad chips away with some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yamada tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jihad's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Jihad content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Yamada has locked up a guillotine! Yamada's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Jihad is holding on here and Yamada must be using up a lot of energy. Jihad has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Yamada gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
