Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Toby Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toby Fisher has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Toby Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yuri Boyka!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boyka rushes Fisher and presses him up against the cage.

Boyka jumps into guard, dragging Fisher to the mat.
Boyka wants to sweep here but Fisher controlling him for the moment.
Boyka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fisher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fisher stands up from Boyka's guard - Fisher perhaps looking for a knockout.
Fisher is trying hard to land a takedown here. Boyka sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fisher looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Boyka is fending him off so far but Fisher persists. Nope, Boyka circles away and we're back to standing.
Boyka closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fisher circles away.
Fisher tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boyka pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Fisher throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Boyka was covering up waiting for the punch and Fisher finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fisher trying to control but Boyka is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boyka wants to stand up but Fisher is controlling him.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Boyka has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Fisher has passed into side control.
Fisher could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Fisher tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fisher has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Boyka tries to bench press Fisher off him but Fisher keeps the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boyka is not content to let Fisher control the position.

Fisher has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Boyka scores with a head kick. Fisher tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Boyka with a poor takedown
enabling Fisher to counter with a crisp jab.
Boyka misses with a head kick.
Boyka keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Boyka stuffs the takedown attempt from Fisher. Fisher gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Toby Fisher. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fisher takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Boyka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fisher tries to clinch up but Boyka circles away and keeps his distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Yuri Boyka will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Fisher has a takedown stuffed.

Boyka pushes Fisher up against the cage in a clinch.
Fisher jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Boyka walks away with a smile on his face. Fisher gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Boyka looks to land a body kick but Fisher moved away.
Fisher tries to clinch
and Boyka counters with a series of strikes. Fisher will be more careful next time no doubt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boyka circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Fisher drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Boyka follows Fisher to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yuri Boyka!
