Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Long!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rupert Highland!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Long closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Long wants to lay and pray for a moment but Highland keeps working.
Highland really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Long. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Highland holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Long seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Highland wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Long is now in half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Highland is controlling Long's position as best he can from this difficult position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Long looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Long has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Highland tries to reverse the position but Long maintains control.
Long is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Long lands a big shot there that rocks Highland but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Highland wants to hold on but Long pushes him away.

Long takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Long in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Highland is squirming around, avoiding Long's attempts to control the action.
Long content just to control the position here.
Highland is wriggling around trying to escape.

Long has hold of Highland's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Highland manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Long raining down shots from the mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Long dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Long lands a brutal head kick. Highland looks out on his feet and Long throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Jack Long!
A relieved looking Jack Long thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
