The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Macak gets caught napping as Knorgroff dives in and scores a takedown. Macak manages to retain guard.
Knorgroff works over Macak with some ground and pound from guard.
Macak wants to sweep here but Knorgroff controlling him for the moment.
Knorgroff trying to stand up but can't free himself from Macak's guard.
Knorgroff has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Macak looking to hit a scissor sweep but Knorgroff is one step ahead there.
Macak might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Knorgroff tries to stand but Macak is controlling from the bottom.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Knorgroff scores with punches from side control.
Macak prevents Knorgroff from improving position.
Knorgroff is chipping away with strikes.

Knorgroff thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Macak is looking for a sweep.
A lull in the action here as Knorgroff stalls from top position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Knorgroff is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Macak's shoulder. That is not cool.
Knorgroff tries to advance to mount but can't.
Macak tries to buck Knorgroff off but Knorgroff is having none of it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Knorgroff moves in looking to clinch but Macak pushes him off.
Macak tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Knorgroff counters with a three punch combo that has Macak backing up. Macak nods at Knorgroff to acknowledge the strikes.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Macak shoots in but no luck this time.

Macak has closed the distance and engaged Knorgroff in a clinch.
Knorgroff looking for a takedown.

Macak drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Macak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Knorgroff swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Macak drops back, looking for a kneebar! Knorgroff looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Knorgroff looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Knorgroff!

Macak trying to control but Knorgroff flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Knorgroff is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Macak has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Knorgroff has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Macak taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Knorgroff doesn't care though - he's delighted!
