The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meyer misses with a few strikes there.
Henriques falls off balance throwing a combination
and Meyer counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Henriques thinking.
Meyer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Henriques counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Henriques makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Meyer really felt that one!

Henriques throws the left hand but Meyer avoids the punch easily.
Kurt Meyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Henriques ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Meyer throws a hook to the side of Henriques's head but Henriques sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Meyer tests Henriques's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Meyer connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Henriques! He's out on his feet! Meyer rushes in and drops Henriques with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
