The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brown rushes Salcedo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Good body shot from Brown.
Salcedo has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Brown after a bit of a struggle.
Salcedo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Brown avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Brown swings wildly with an uppercut but Salcedo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Brown has a couple of punches blocked by Salcedo.
Brown tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown misses with a hook to the ribs.

Brown swings wildly with an uppercut but Salcedo uses good head movement to avoid it.

Salcedo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Brown fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Leroy Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oscar Salcedo.

Leroy Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Salcedo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Brown.

Brown throws a lazy body kick
and Salcedo counters with a takedown into side control.
Brown is looking for a sweep.
Salcedo decides to stand back up. Salcedo steps back and let's Brown get back to his feet.
Brown takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Some bone on bone action there as Salcedo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Brown wants to clinch.
Salcedo takes one to the side of the head.

Brown throws a body punch but Salcedo moves out of range.
Brown lands a really nice looking cross but Salcedo seems unphased.

Salcedo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brown.
Salcedo is still on wobbly legs! Can Brown finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brown closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Salcedo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Brown prevents it.

Salcedo goes for a takedown attempt but Brown pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Brown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Brown rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
so Salcedo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Brown is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Salcedo on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Brown wants to clinch but Salcedo slips to the side
and Salcedo counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Salcedo stands up from Brown's guard - Salcedo perhaps looking for a knockout.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch but Salcedo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Brown drops Salcedo with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Salcedo! Brown dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
