Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cardinale dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lang. That did some damage!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cardinale has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lang crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cardinale - the referee stops the clock and Lang gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cardinale. Lang manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
