The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rourke uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from F.
F tries to land a front kick but Rourke steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
F is looking to land body kicks.
A swing and a miss from F.
Nice takedown defense from F. No joy for Rourke on that attempt.
Rourke uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from F.
F needs to keep his hands up - Rourke had a free shot at his head there.
Marv Rourke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rourke shoots in for a takedown but F shows good takedown defense.
F looks to land a left hand but Rourke moved out of range nicely.
Rourke displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as F throws out the jab.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from F lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rourke has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rourke and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Rourke looks to land a combination but F avoids it well.
F misses with a hook.
F takes one to the chin there.
Rourke misses with a looping left.
A nice combination there by Rourke.
A jab from F misses.
Rourke misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Rourke throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rourke fails with an attempt to clinch.
A slapping leg kick lands for F.

F forces Rourke back against the cage and clinches.

F lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Rourke or not.
F is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

F lands a left hand that snaps the head of Rourke backwards.
F with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Professor F.
Rourke avoids the head kick by F.
Rourke swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rourke ducks under a wild hook from F.
F throws a looping overhand right but Rourke ducks down to avoid it.
F jabbing away but nothing is landing.
F attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

F gets a clinch.
Rourke wants to get back to striking at distance but F won't allow it.
F tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
F misses with some punches.
F has a couple of punches blocked by Rourke.
F is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

F gets control of Rourke's arms and successfully pulls guard. F will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as F holds on and takes a little breather.
F is trying to keep Rourke in close.
F lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rourke!
F pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

It looks like Marv Rourke has been cut.
F has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rourke's face.
F lands with some strikes.
