Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlon Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin has chosen "Don't Waste My Time" by Jim Johnston as his entrance music. Jack Jackson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marlon Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson instigates a clinch.
Griffin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Jackson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Griffin dodges the punch combination from Jackson.
Griffin tries to clinch but Jackson moves away
and Jackson counters with a nice body kick.
Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Griffin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Griffin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jackson closes the distance and clinches.
Griffin can't break the clinch.
Jackson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Griffin tries to score a body lock takedown but Jackson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jackson drags the fight down to the ground.

Jackson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Griffin off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Marlon Griffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Griffin tries to circle away but Jackson has him pinned against the cage.

Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Jackson!
Jackson tries for a takedown but Griffin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nice sprawl there from Griffin as Jackson shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jackson looks to land a combination. Griffin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Griffin is rocked!
Jackson throws a pinpoint strike between Griffin's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Griffin crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Jackson scores a great knockout victory!
