The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zsofka Jr lands with a good body shot.
Peltola loads up on a big right hand but Zsofka Jr slips the punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Peltola. Zsofka Jr does a little dance to reset his feet.
Peltola throws a body punch but Zsofka Jr moves out of range.
Zsofka Jr lands a nice leg kick that just misses Peltola's sensitive parts.

Peltola lands a nice hook to Zsofka Jr's body. Zsofka Jr takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Peltola seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Zsofka Jr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Peltola throws a hook to the side of Zsofka Jr's head but Zsofka Jr sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Zsofka Jr shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Peltola's guard.

Zsofka Jr lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

My spies in My own... inform me that Zsofka Jr has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

A relieved looking Mertsi Peltola thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Baldomir Zsofka Jr was interviewed post fight and said 'Maybe I should not have eaten a pie before the fight'.
