Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lysa Pala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Mandelev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pala's entrance music is Kiara - Bonobo. A fine choice. Mandelev has chosen Rage as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Shawn Mandelev!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pala connects with the punch.
A decent looking cross lands there for Pala.
Mandelev misses with an uppercut.
Pala ducks under a wild hook from Mandelev.
Pala definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Good standup being displayed there by Mandelev as he connects with a hook.
Pala drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Pala takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Pala throws a hook to the side of Mandelev's head but Mandelev sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pala takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Mandelev throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pala misses with an uppercut.

Mandelev takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mandelev is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Pala is rocked!
It looks like Lysa Pala has been cut.
Pala lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Mandelev displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pala throws out the jab.
Mandelev rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pala moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Oh Pala is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pala ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pala seems to have got his legs back now.
Pala slips a jab and a cross from Mandelev.
Pala fakes the leg kick and cracks Mandelev in the body.
Mandelev looks to land a right hand but Pala moved out of range.
Mandelev throws a hook but Pala blocks it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pala, right into the meat.
Pala lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mandelev throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mandelev lands a jab to the nose.
Mandelev will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pala is looking to land body kicks.
Pala keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mandelev lands with a hook. Pala tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Pala paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Pala bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Mandelev feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Palas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Mandelev lands a jab.
Pala jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Mandelev lands a nice hook to Pala's body. Pala takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mandelev is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Pala like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Pala from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shawn Mandelev!
Shawn Mandelev decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
