Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Matsuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alvarez has chosen Changed My Mind as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Matsuo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Alvarez seems to be looking for submissions.

Alvarez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Matsuo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Matsuo is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Alvarez off and has taken his back!

Matsuo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Matsuo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
