Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fardoche Fermier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Art Ist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tired and clearly flustered, he entered the arena late and after a little discussion it was decided that the bout should take place.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fermier throws a body punch but Ist moves out of range.
Fermier misses with a wild body shot.
Fermier misses with a looping left.
A telegraphed right hand from Fermier misses the target.
Ist dives in and scores a takedown into Fermier's guard.
Ist should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fermier is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ist swats away the attempt to clinch by Fermier.
Fermier tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ist was well out of range. Poor timing from Fermier.
Ist has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ist.

Fermier is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at SAVATE DE RUE du Quebec, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
