Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Diggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Barba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diggins kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bonfire. Frank Barba has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barba throws a jab but it's blocked by Diggins.
Barba waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Diggins.
Barba stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Frank Barba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barba's jab looks to have found its range, popping Diggins under the eye.
Barba takes a swing at Diggins's ribcage but misses.
Diggins wants to clinch up but Barba keeps it at a distance.
Barba will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Barba scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Diggins doesn't manage to clinch there - Barba circles away.
Barba throws a one two combo.
Diggins throws a sloppy head kick and Barba moves out of range easily.
Barba looks to land a left hand but Diggins moved out of range nicely.
Diggins fails with an attempt to clinch.
Barba looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Diggins keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Barba.

A jab lands there for Diggins.

Barba throws a left and a right that both miss
and Diggins counters with a thumping low kick.
Diggins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A jab-cross combination lands for Barba and sends Diggins crashing to the mat! Barba follows him down to the mat - Diggins regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Barba lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Diggins quite badly. Diggins pulls Barba in close trying to recover. Barba postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Diggins on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Diggins doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
