Le's entrance music is Dukes of Hazard Theme Song - Waylon Jennings. A fine choice. Phan Tran Le has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phan Tran Le!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antonis Skayias!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le avoids the body shot from Skayias.
Skayias has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Le leaves Skayias with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Skayias looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Le is fending him off so far but Skayias persists. Nope, Le circles away and we're back to standing.
Le thumps Skayias with a low kick.
Le shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Le stuffs the takedown.
Phan Tran Le has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonis Skayias.
Skayias walks into a left hand.
Le connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Skayias tries for a takedown but Le sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Le fails with an attempt to clinch.
Skayias slips under a jab.
No joy there for Skayias, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Le lands a jab to the head.
Skayias just misses with a punch to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Skayias darts in looking for a takedown but Le gets double underhooks and turns Skayias into the cage.

Le rushes Skayias and presses him up against the cage.
Le blocks an uppercut.

Le lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Nice body punch from Skayias.
Skayias has Le pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Le manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Skayias blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Le misses with a hook from the clinch.
Le looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Le throws a head punch that misses.
Skayias working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Le throws a punch but it's blocked by Skayias.
A frustrated look appears on Skayias's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Le works on Skayias's body with a couple of short punches.

Skayias breaks from the clinch.
Phan Tran Le is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Skayias checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Skayias dives in for a single leg takedown but Le sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Le chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Skayias tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Le defends well and Skayias ends up having to push Le into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Skayias shoots in and bounces Le off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Skayias lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Skayias throws a strike but Le rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Le slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Le trying to control but Skayias is working from the bottom.

Le decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Skayias looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Le cracks the inside of Skayias's front leg.
Skayias dives in and grabs Le's left leg, looking for a takedown. Le pushes down on Skayias's head and hops out.
Skayias misses with the combination.
Le displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Skayias.
A big left from Le misses.
Skayias has his takedown stuffed
and Le connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Antonis Skayias has been cut.
Le throws the kick towards the body but Skayias avoids it.
Skayias takes a jab right on the kisser.

Skayias is rocked!
Skayias leaves his chin hanging out and Le seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Skayias crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Phan Tran Le decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
