Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wojtek Stachelek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dee Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wojtek Stachelek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dee Quick!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick throws a left and a right that both miss

and Stachelek counters with a single leg into guard. Quick didn't expect that.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Stachelek keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Quick's head.
Stachelek loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Quick wants to get back to his feet but Stachelek is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Stachelek works over Quick with some ground and pound from guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quick is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stachelek is controlling him.

Quick is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stachelek lands a couple of elbows.
Quick really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stachelek. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stachelek has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Stachelek tries to free his leg and advance position but Quick is retaining full guard.
Quick wants to stand and escape but Stachelek is having none of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Quick can do anything to dispel that myth.
Quick looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Stachelek landing with the ground and pound.

Stachelek is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Quick is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Quick has escaped and now he's on top!

Quick working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Stachelek's head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Stachelek has his feet on Quick's thighs here. He's pushed Quick off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Quick screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
