Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mordred Silar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mordred Silar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silar tries to keep at a distance but Maia has taken the fight into the clinch.
Silar jumps guard but Maia stands there with Silar around his waist. Silar gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Maia manages to break the clinch.
Silar looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mordred Silar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Silar's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Well Maia has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
