Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sioux Sie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jomar Requina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Requina misses with a punch to the body.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Sie jumps guard but Requina stands there with Sie around his waist. Sie gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Requina has a couple of punches blocked by Sie.

Sie lands a nice shot that snaps Requina's head back.
Sie slips under a jab from Requina.
Requina misses with a body kick.
Sie stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Sie fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Requina is out of range.
Nice defenses there by Sie.
Some bone on bone action there as Requina checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Requina goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Requina does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sie is defended easily by Requina.

Sie throws a head kick but Requina moves out of range.
No joy there for Requina, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Requina throws out a loose jab but Sie uses good head movement to avoid it.
Requina changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
