Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daken Akihiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akisame Hikaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hikaru is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ultimate Battle. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akihiro throws the left hand but Hikaru avoids the punch easily.

Hikaru moves into range and clinches up with Akihiro.
Akihiro is pressed up against the cage. Hikaru has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Akihiro down to the mat. Akihiro avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Akihiro goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

A very excited looking Daken Akihiro rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Akisame Hikaru spoke after the fight, saying 'It was a great fight, I can't ask much more of myself, my opponent was very skilled.'.
