Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Dhal Sim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abidemi Kwame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kwame has chosen Ca fait mal as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Abidemi Kwame!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kwame tries a head kick but it misses.
Kwame lands with a nice body punch.
Sim uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kwame.
Sim moves out of range of the body kick from Kwame.
Kwame will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Sim shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Sim throws a hook but Kwame avoids it easily.
Sim thows a body kick. Kwame tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Sim definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kwame on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dhal Sim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sim lands a nice looking body kick.
Kwame connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sim. Sim circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Kwame throws a shot from downtown. Sim moves away and avoids it.
Kwame sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Kwame avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sim cracks Kwame with a good jab.

Sim throws an overhand right that lands on Kwame's shoulder, as Kwame tries to avoid the shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kwame moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Sim.
Kwame has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Sim.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kwame.
Kwame tries to move into range but Sim moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kwame on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Sim moves out of range of the strikes.
Kwame takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Kwame tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sim was well out of range. Poor timing from Kwame.

Kwame tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sim is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Kwame throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sim sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kwame goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Sim tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kwame paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sim jabs Kwame right on the nose. Kwame blinks but takes it well.

Thud! ouch! good body kick from Sim - that will leave a mark!

Sim darts in trying to clinch
and Kwame counters with a nice uppercut.

Sim scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kwame throws a push kick but Sim slaps the foot to one side.
Kwame takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sim misses with an attempted mid kick.
Sim misses with a double jab
and Kwame counters with a lovely straight right hand!

A looping hook to the body misses from Kwame. Sim does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kwame throws a head kick that Sim semi-blocks.
Oh Sim is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sim keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kwame weaves into range and cracks Sim right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Sim goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Kwame is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Abidemi Kwame!
