And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Duphus.
Xezeron avoids a kick to the body.
Xezeron moves out of range of the body kick.
Duphus throws a leg kick
and Xezeron cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Ruphus Duphus has been cut.
Duphus misses with a leg kick.
Duphus fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Xezeron on the side of the head.
Duphus misses the body punch
and Xezeron counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Duphus just misses with a punch to the body.
Duphus keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Duphus scores with a nice strike.
Duphus uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Xezeron.
Xezeron blocks the body kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Xezeron checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Duphus buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Duphus looks to throw the jab but Xezeron is out of range.
Xezeron takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Duphus lands a leg kick that knocks Xezeron off balance momentarily.
Duphus slips a jab and a cross from Xezeron.
Ruphus Duphus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Duphus uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Duphus fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Xezeron checks it well.

Xezeron swings for the body but Duphus moves out of range.
Duphus throws a wild body kick that Xezeron sees coming a mile off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Xezeron moves out of range of the body kick from Duphus.
Xezeron just misses with a punch to the body.
Xezeron tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Duphus was well out of range. Poor timing from Xezeron.
A looping hook to the body misses from Xezeron. Duphus does a little dance to reset his feet.
Duphus misses with a hook. Xezeron ducked under it nicely.
Duphus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Xezeron sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Xezeron scores with the left hand. Duphus knows he should have avoided that one.
Xezeron throws a sloppy head kick and Duphus moves out of range easily.
Duphus throws a hook but Xezeron blocks it.
Xezeron ducks right into an uppercut from Duphus.
Xezeron throws a lazy right hand but Duphus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Xezeron connects with a crisp jab.
Xezeron connects with a nice looking jab.
Xezeron misses with a jab to the body
and Duphus counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Xezeron!
Xezeron is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Xezeron is working to avoid the ground and pound but Duphus connects with a decent elbow.
The referee asks Duphus politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Duphus prefers to stall for the moment though.
Xezeron tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Duphus is looking to take a break and control but Xezeron is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Xezeron sneaks back into half guard.
Xezeron trying to get back to full guard but Duphus takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Duphus lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Duphus has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Xezeron keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Duphus landing strikes from the mount and Xezeron is in trouble!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ruphus Duphus dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ruphus Duphus's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Xezeron gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Duphus gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Xezeron is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ruphus Duphus!
Ruphus Duphus got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
