Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Norris Small (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castillo has chosen Ave Maria as his entrance music. Norris Small has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesus Castillo!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castillo dives in and scores a takedown into Small's guard.
Castillo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Small swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Small really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Castillo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Small on his heels. He'll look to pass Small's guard now, I'm sure.

Small has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Castillo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Small takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Small thows a huge punch but Castillo dodges it nicely.

Small gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Castillo to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Castillo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Castillo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Norris Small will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Small misses with a takedown attempt - Castillo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Small tries to close the distance and clinch up but Castillo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Castillo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Small to the ground. Castillo is now in Small's guard.

Castillo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Jesus Castillo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Castillo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
