PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Sanford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elliot Stabler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stabler comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Grown Men Don't Cry kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanford throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stabler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sanford tries to avoid it but Stabler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sanford to the ground. Sanford escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stabler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Horrible takedown attempt by Stabler or perhaps it was just good defense by Sanford, which made it look bad.
Sanford attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A slapping body kick lands there for Sanford.
Stabler walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Sanford throws a head kick that Stabler semi-blocks.

It looks like Elliot Stabler has been cut.
Stabler throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sanford scores with a punch to the head.

Fred Sanford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elliot Stabler.
Stabler darts in looking for a takedown but Sanford gets double underhooks and turns Stabler into the cage.

Sanford leaves Stabler with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Sanford will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sanford lunges at Stabler with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Stabler's hand.
