PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Marko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Killjoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marko comes into the arena with Get Back - Ludacris blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Killjoy!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killjoy doesn't manage to clinch there - Marko circles away.
Marko throws a head kick but Killjoy moves out of range.
A good leg kick by Killjoy.
Marko loads up on a big right hand but Killjoy slips the punch.
Marko tries to work over Killjoy's front leg with a kick but Killjoy checks it.
Marko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kevin Killjoy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Killjoy throws a nice looking combination but Marko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Marko is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Killjoy.
Marko circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marko moves to clinch but Killjoy breaks away
and Killjoy counters with a one-two to the body.
Killjoy misses with a combination
letting Marko counter with a right hand.

It looks like Kevin Killjoy has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Killjoy just misses with a punch to the body.
Cain Marko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Marko jabs Killjoy right on the nose. Killjoy blinks but takes it well.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Marko, as that shot connected.
Killjoy wants to clinch up but Marko keeps it at a distance.
Killjoy looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Marko is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Killjoy gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Marko gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Killjoy is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cain Marko!
