Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Time Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel Kim could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Time Bang's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Time Bang!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim works Bang's body with a nice hook.

Bang drives through with a takedown into Kim's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Bang postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Kim is adopting a defensive guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kim has his hands on Bang's head, controlling the position.
Bang has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Bang felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A left and a right from Kim both land. Nice combination.


It looks like Time Bang has been cut.
Bang shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kim but Kim pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Daniel Kim is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kim!

Bang decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Kim pushes Bang off looking to stand but Bang dives back in and keeps control.
Kim makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kim.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's time! Kim's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Kim fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bang on the side of the head.

Bang fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kim sprawls well initially but Bang persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bang is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bang wants to stand up but Kim is controlling him.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bang dives in for a single leg takedown but Kim sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kim working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Kim breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kim stalks Bang and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bang's face. Bang staggers backwards, shaken.
Kim connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Kim cracks Bang with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kim lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Bang shoots and misses
and Kim counters with a straight right hand.


Bang is rocked!
Bang is breathing heavily.
Bang shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kim as he jumps to the side.
Bang is still on wobbly legs! Can Kim finish him?
Daniel Kim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Time Bang.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kim.
Bang seems to have recovered his senses.
Bang takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kim fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Bang to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Bang looks to clinch but Kim throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Bang taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Daniel Kim!
Daniel Kim spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
