Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Davey Brook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Mills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brook kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Waltz of the Rising Star. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills tries to clinch but Brook moves out of range.
Mills is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mills turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mills closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mills gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Brook has a couple of punches blocked by Mills.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mills has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Mills jumps guard but Brook turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Brook is trying to push Mills away but Mills has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Brook is pressed up against the cage. Mills has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brook down to the mat. Brook avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mills is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Brook definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mills scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Brook. That snapped Mills's head back.

Brook closes the distance and pushes Mills back into the cage.

Mills tries to pull guard but Brook holds him up against the cage and eventually Mills drops back down to his feet.

Mills is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Brook is defending well.
Brook blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Brook is looking to break free of the clinch but Mills has double underhooks.
Mills prevents a body shot from Brook.
Mills has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Brook uses from the top position.

Brook misses with a hook. Mills ducked under it nicely.

Brook thuds his right hand into Mills's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Mills with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mills looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Brook clobbers Mills with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Brook circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brook lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Mills throws a push kick but Brook slaps the foot to one side.
Brook thuds his right hand into Mills's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Mills dives in for a single leg takedown but Brook sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Brook.
Nice body punch from Brook - that landed with a thud.
Brook blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Mills pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Brook scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Brook is pressed up against the cage. Mills has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brook down to the mat. Brook avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mills is looking to clinch.
Mills's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brook connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mills scrambles back to his feet.
Mills is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Brook lands with an overhand left.
Mills is still on wobbly legs! Can Brook finish him?
Mills tries to clinch but Brook moves out of range.
Brook cracks Mills with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Mills tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Brook pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Mills is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Davey Brook!
Davey Brook bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
